Dubai's Supreme Council of Energy signs MoU with Jordan's Green Building Council, Engineers Association

Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, DSCE, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with Jordan Green Building Council and the Jordan Engineers Association, on cooperation on the development of energy programmes and projects, exchange of knowledge and best practices, collaboration on research, development, and training programmes, with the aim of supporting a cleanenergy focused strategy and protecting the environment.

The signing of the MoU was announced at press conference held by Dubai Supreme Council of Energy in Amman, Jordan, as part of its roadshow to promote the Emirates Energy Award (EEA) in the Middle East and North Africa. Qutaiba Abu Qura, Jordan's former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Abdullah Bedier, Chairman of the Jordan Green Building Council, representatives of ministries and departments and media organisations were present the conference.

Ahmed Butti Al Muhairbi, SecretaryGeneral of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and Vice President of the Executive Committee of the EEA, highlighted EEA's objectives that support the U.A.E.'s national agenda and Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030 aimed at reducing energy demand by 30% by 2030.
